The excise minister urged citizens to verify the purchase of liquor/beer via the “UP Excise Citizen App” when purchasing it. If any discrepancy arises, they should immediately report it to the relevant District Excise Officer or the Excise Department’s toll-free helpline number 14405. Additionally, complaints can also be filed through the IGRS using the “Grievance” menu available in the app.
